Issue to job worker
One step: this makes one confirmed raw-material challan with its own job-work number (it never uses your ordinary challan numbers), takes the material out of your stock and adds it to the job worker's balance. A challan can be cancelled below until goods have come back against it.
Confirm with your CA: this is a principal's material going to a job worker. Choose the purpose that matches the paperwork.

Confirmed RM challans not yet linked
Linking records the challan's material as issued to the selected job worker; the challan itself is not changed. By default only challans made out to this job worker are listed. A challan issued as a Sale cannot be linked -- record an opening balance instead.

Scrap of
Made = finished goods (the recipe burns their inputs from the job worker's balance). Made, rejected = counted, held back, not stocked. Returned as-is (unused) = your material coming back unused, exactly as it was issued. Scrap = declared waste, tracked against the expected scrap. Type a name or code to find a material.
Add a made line to preview the burn computed from the recipe.
The ratio above is the recipe's, shown read-only — the owner / supervisor can change the ratio for this receipt.
Per made line and component: the actual ratio used per unit. Consumed and expected scrap follow it (consumed = ratio × qty; the scrap keeps the recipe's net content constant) and both stay editable. Leave the ratio as the recipe's to send no change at all.

Job-work report
Read-only. Balance, scrap and the override flags come from the register's own report; the lists come from the register tables. Ageing is as of today over the whole ledger, whatever date range you pick — an issue from last year still ages.

The balance could not be loaded; the server will still check it when you confirm.
⚠Insufficient balance: a component would go below zero. Check the lines, link the missing challan or record an opening balance first.
